The official logo of the Republican Movement of Quebec
The official logo of the Republican Movement of Quebec - including the title of the organization - was designed by MRQ founder Guy Boulianne on February 16, 2017. A copyright was filed on October 1, 2017. Copyright, often indicated by the symbol © is in common law countries, the set of exclusive prerogatives available to a natural or legal person on a work of the original mind. It therefore refers to a body of laws that is in force, particularly in the Commonwealth countries and in the United States.
The logo of the Republican Movement of Quebec consists of a stylized white lily flower, placed inside two concentric blue circles, in two different shades. By pure chance, this logo joined Quatrain XI. 4 of the Centurie XI of Michel de Nostredame. Nostradamus, born December 14, 1503 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and died July 2, 1566 in Salon-de-Provence, was a French apothecary. According to many sources, he would also have been a doctor, although his expulsion from the medical faculty of Montpellier testifies that it was not possible to be both at once. Practicing astrology like all his colleagues during the Renaissance, he is best known for his predictions on the march of the world.
D'un rond, d'un lys naîtra un si grand Prince,
Bien tôt, et tard venu dans sa Province,
Saturne en Libra en exaltation ;
Maison de Vénus en décroissante force,
Dame en après masculin soubs l'écorce,
Pour maintenir l'heureux sang de Bourbon..
